THOMSON PRICES INCLUDE:
AIR HOLIDAYS
• Return air flights and transfers (coach, train, taxi or rental free car hire in some USA resorts) to and from your resort.
• Flight baggage allowance usually 44lbs (20kgs) but 33lbs (15kgs) on selected routes – see Ski Flights page for further information.
• Accommodation and meals as per your booking.
• Help & advice from your Thomson Ski & Snowboarding Representative or agent.
• All local taxes, VAT, UK and overseas service charges, and bed linen.
• All current airport taxes are included in our prices including the Air Travel Duty.
SKI TRAIN HOLIDAYS
• Return train from Calais or Paris to resort, or direct from Waterloo by Eurostar
• Cross Channel Ferry as booked
• Seat or couchette on the train
• Transfers from train station to and from your resort
• Free baggage allowance, one medium sized suitcase plus skis/boots
• Services of a Thomson Ski & Snowboarding rep from Dover to your resort (not on Eurostar direct services)
• Accommodation and meals as per your booking
• Help and advice from your Thomson Ski & Snowboarding rep or agent in resort
• All local taxes, VAT, UK and overseas service charges, and bed linen
Please note it is not always possible to guarantee that you will be seated together. We will always do our best to secure seating as requested but must make clear that seating may be allocated in different compartments or carriages or areas of a carriage. Your seat allocation will be confirmed with your travel documentation.
SELF DRIVE HOLIDAYS
• Eurotunnel, cross channel ferry (short crossing), or Seacat included
• GB sticker etc.
• Accommodation and meals as per your booking

• All local taxes, VAT, UK and overseas service charges and bed linen
ACCOMMODATION ONLY
• On some dates we are able to offer accommodation only holidays which include accommodation and food basis as booked. Should you require transfers these can also be arranged on our transfer coaches, at additional cost, as long as you are travelling on one of our charter flights. Otherwise, we would be pleased to offer you the option to buy car hire or private taxi transfers.
Canada - GST Tax: A Goods and Services Tax (GST) of approximately 7% is payable on all goods and services in Canada. Tourists who pay this tax can sometimes claim it back from the Canadian Authorities. GST would normally be payable on the accommodation element of your package holiday with us. However, as a Tour Operator, we are exempt from paying this tax and therefore we do not charge you for it in your holiday price. As you will not be bearing the burden of GST on your accommodation price, you will not be able to claim it back from the Canadian Authorities.
All prices include VAT on all holidays to EU countries and are based on the rates of exchange at the time that this brochure went to print: US$ 1.80, CAN$ 2.00, € 1.42, SFR 2.15.
In addition to the details confirmed on the invoice the price of your holiday includes all currency surcharges, local taxes, VAT, UK and overseas service charges, all current airport taxes including USA airport tax and the Government Air Travel Duty of £5 per economy passenger and £10 per upgraded passenger travelling in different cabin classes to EEA countries, £20 per economy passenger and £40 per upgraded passenger travelling in different cabin classes to non-EEA countries. Please note that UK domestic flights will incur a £5 charge for each leg of the journey i.e. £10 return.
Due to circumstances beyond our control airlines may cease to operate on certain routes which may have an effect upon the holiday price.
Tickets on Departure:
A minimum charge of £15 per person will be made for all tickets collected at the airport. This does not include ticket re-issue in the event of loss (see “If You Change Your Booking” of Terms & Conditions).
Holiday Deposit: When you or your travel agent wish to confirm a booking you must pay the deposit of £130 per person (Europe) or £150 per person (USA/Canada), together with the insurance premium if required.
What’s Not Included in your Holiday Price
• Meals and accommodation en route (except where specified)
• In-flight catering on some short haul flights
• Airport flight supplement, where applicable
• Ski travel insurance (which you must have)
• Carriage of skis and snowboards on charter flights (included on scheduled flights)
• Porterage of luggage at any stage
• Breakdown Insurance (Self-Drive)
• CDW or local taxes on car hire
• Any services provided locally that are advertised as being available at the booked resort or accommodation, but not described as free of charge e.g. child care/ski school, hotel facilities
• Any local gratuities, taxes charged by hotels/condos in USA/Canada
• Credit card handling fees
ADMINISTRATION CHARGE
We reserve the right to levy an administration charge in certain circumstances to cover any additional costs incurred by us, such as contacting suppliers to check availability or special requests, returning lost property, special ticket dispatch, extra administration relating to late bookings within 7 days of departure etc. This charge is £25 per booking, but may be higher to cover special ticket dispatch costs. This charge does not relate to changes you make to your booking.
