Beginner snowboard packages

Many resorts will also offer Improver Packages which should be booked if you are not a complete beginner.

First Time packs include everything from snowboard and boots to high quality instruction, making for excellent savings. Not all First Time packs include normal lift passes as nursery slope lifts may be free and special beginners slopes lift passes may be included if the board school uses them for classes. In some areas, a full lift pass is needed. Please check the individual resort pages for details.

Our First Time packs have been put together with special rates for complete beginners (skiers and boarders only). If you are not a complete beginner (perhaps you have boarded as a youngster) then First Time packages are not for you.

On the first day, snowboard instructors will assess ability and may place you in a more advanced class. You may need to pay for any additional lift pass and tuition. Unless indicated otherwise, a lift pass is not included in the Learn to Snowboard pack, because it is unlikely that you need the lifts during your first few days. But the faster you progress, the sooner you will need a lift pass so we suggest that you budget for a three or four day pass in resort and bring a passport sized photograph.
