So what's it like?
Experience the highest lift in North America at 12,840 ft
Breckenridge is a real American town sitting at the base of one of the highest and largest ski areas in the USA. The four interconnected peaks of Breckenridge ski area have something for everyone, with gentle green runs towards the base of the mountain, a huge amount of tree lined blue runs across all the mountain faces, and for the advanced and expert there are alpine bowls and chutes, the top of Peak 8 having some hair-raising steeps. The colourful main street has plenty of shops and some great, inexpensive local bars and restaurants with oodles of character, plus some more up market options too. Even those staying for two weeks will be more than happy at Breck but there are other ski resorts nearby you can try also.
