So what's it like?
A winter wonderland for skiers and non-skiers alike
Ever popular with British visitors, the Jungfrau Region is set against the beautiful backdrop of the majestic Eiger. The diverse terrain was the “birthplace of alpine skiing”, and the pretty villages have a long skiing tradition. Wengen retains a more rustic mountain flavour, accessed by mountain railway, the centre is virtually traffic free. Exclusive offer: Buy one lift pass and get one FREE (valid for ALL departure dates for Winter 11/12)

Ski information
Beginners
There are nursery slopes in Wengen and there is an excellent English speaking Swiss ski school. Once those basic skills have been honed, beginners can move onto the Klien Scheidegg.
Intermediates
The full area Jungfrau Top Ski Region ski pass covers 213kms of pistes, providing almost unlimited scope for intermediates on a range of relaxing runs or more testing routes down the Kleine Scheidegg mountain. Highlights include the 8km run from Oberjoch down to Grindelwald and the powder slopes from the Eigergletscher to Wengernalp.
Advanced
Experts can try the famous Lauberhorn World Cup downhill piste, or the fearsome Black Rock run which starts at the base of the Eiger. If you can cope with any more then there is the famous black, almost vertical 'Kanonenrohr' in Mürren.
Nightlife
A good variety to suit all tastes from quiet and informal cafés to lively bars. Recommended is Sina's Bar with live music, Tanne, the Crystal bar or Rocks bar.
