Arguably the best loved ski resort in the whole of Italy, Sauze's main slopes are scattered along a broad bowl above the resort, surrounded by woodland. The resort offers excellent skiing for novices, intermediates and experts alike. An efficient link to Sansicario and Sestriere installed following significant investment after the Winter Olympics in 2006 means you now get even more mileage out of your lift pass. The variety and sheer mass of terrain to cover, along with the famous après ski scene have put Sauze firmly on the piste map as the coolest place to kick up your heels this winter both on and off the slopes. Transfer coaches are not permitted in the resort centre. Luggage is transported to the hotels and guests walk through the village to their accommodation.

Starting early and finishing late, the possibilities for non-stop nightlife in Sauze are many and varied.
