More about the skiing in Panorama

  • So what's it like?

Superb value Canadian Rockies skiing, great for all abilities

Panorama is a great Rockies ski resort offering a huge variety of skiing and a great village. They love to groom the slopes here so you will find perfect corduroy slopes most mornings – even some of the steep blacks get a once over from the snow cats. But for powder lovers there are great areas where you can enjoy some great steep and deep skiing. The resort village at the base of the slopes offers luxury accommodation at incredible prices, all our customers can use the outdoor hot pools overlooking the slopes.

    Ski information

    Beginners

For true beginners this is a great place to learn with a dedicated learning area and one of Canada’s best ski schools. For the more competent there are plenty of wide, regularly groomed green runs and simple blues making progression a doddle.

    Intermediates

Panorama has for a long time been a great resort for skiers who are looking for great cruisers, famous for its impeccable grooming of both the more gentle blues and steep blacks. If you like perfect corduroy then Panorama is a great resort.

    Advanced

Although quite a few of the steeper runs are groomed areas such as Taynton Bowl or Extreme Dream Zone have a lot to offer even the most experienced skier. There are chutes, bumps, tree runs and bowls – all have a pretty steep pitch but if you want more then we would recommend a day out at Kicking Horse nearby, which is a great experts mountain.
