So what's it like?
The Deer Lodge is unlike anything you usually find in Canada. The historic building has oodles of character, with incredible views from the roof top hot tub and nooks and crannies where you can sit back, relax and read. The rooms are really well presented with original touches and the lodge has one of the best restaurants in the area with people from the nearby Fairmont often frequenting it.

Double lodge rooms - sleep 2: Small rooms with one double bed.

Double heritage rooms - sleep 2-4: With two double beds, coffee maker and balcony.
King heritage rooms - sleep 2: With one king bed, coffee maker and balcony.
Tower rooms - sleep 2: Rooms with one queen bed that have been restored to their original condition.Facilities

The lodge and tower rooms are located in the historic wing and the heritage rooms are in the newer wing of the hotel. None of the rooms have TVs and there are no lifts at the lodge.
