Borovets lies in the pine forests of the Rila Mountains with both lifts and gentle nursery slopes located conveniently close to the resort centre. An ideal resort for families and groups of friends alike. Bulgaria's most popular ski resort, it offers excellent value for money, a vibrant nightlife, good skiing and a host of activities for the non-skier!

Ski information
Beginners
Great for beginners, with a high standard of English speaking instruction and gentle nursery slopes, just beside the Rila Complex and three minutes' walk from the Samokov.
Intermediates
Borovets is a good resort for intermediates, with a variety of runs. The well-planned lift system includes the six-person Yastrebets gondola.
Advanced
For the expert skier there is the testing World Cup run, one of the more challenging pistes in the Yastrebets area or the excellent skiing through the trees and off-piste.
Nightlife
Legendary nightlife with lots of choice. Try: · traditional inns with log fires · busy bars with loud music and dancing · joining the resort team on pub crawl night to explore the best bars in Borovets · Buzz Bar · Mamacita's for amazing fajitas

Prebookable Independent Nursery and Ski kindergarten at the Hotel Rila (8.30am - 4.30pm)
Nursery (non-ski) - for children between 1-3 years old. Cared for by nannies based in the hotel.
Ski Kindergarten - for children between 4-6 years. Includes supervision, skis, boots, 2 hours daily tuition, lunch, games, sweets, tea and children's entertainment. Hotel Samokov also runs its own kindergarten for guests staying in the hotel.Snow Savers
