  • The famous old town of Zell am See, with its collection of medieval buildings, lies on one of Austria's most picturesque lakes. The impressive Schmittenhöhe mountain is easily accessed from the resort centre and is the starting point for long, cruising runs back to Zell. The Europa Sportregion lift pass also covers the neighbouring glacier resort of Kaprun, reached by local ski bus, making the area one of the most snow-sure in Austria.
