The wonderful skiing in Mayrhofen takes place on two separate, sunny plateaux - the Penken and the Ahorn. The Ahorn cable car is located just 200m from the Penken gondola in the village centre. Mayrhofen is host to the famous 'Snowbombing' festival. This self titled 'World's greatest show on snow' is a week long event featuring famous UK DJ's, live music and dancing through the night. During this week (departure 2nd April) the resort will be very busy and lively.
