So what's it like?
Delightful resort at the heart of Austria's largest ski area
Itter is a picturesque, typically Austrian village nestled in between the Kitzbüheler Alps and the mighty Wilder Kaiser mountains. One of the quieter resorts in the Ski Welt, but still with access to the magnificent SkiWelt area with it's 279km of superb pistes.
Ski information
Beginners
Itter has nursery slopes on the edge of the village. The caring instructors will teach you so well that you will quickly progress on to the many gentle runs in the area.
Intermediates
All resorts are linked to the Ski Welt Circuit with 279kms of piste, 91 lifts and stupendous views. Access to this area is via gondola from Itter.
Advanced
Experts will find plenty to choose from both on and off-piste, including the Silleralm descent and the Eiberg slalom run on Söll's Hohe Salve mountain and the Moderer unpisted run back down to Scheffau.
Nightlife
Traditional and relaxed there are some cosy bars in which to relax after a day on the slopes
