So what's it like?
For its size, the GrandValira ski area is comparable to many resorts in the Alps
The neighbouring villages of Soldeu and El Tarter are part of the tremendous GrandValira ski area, with modern lifts and wide open runs, ideal for all abilities. In recent years Soldeu has led Andorra's transition from budget to quality ski destination whilst still offering good value for money. Both villages have excellent, English speaking ski schools and a choice of après ski fun ranging from winter activities to lively bars and night clubs.
Ski information
Beginners
Why not book our superb value 'First time' ski pack offer? The impressive English-speaking ski school (recently voted the best in Europe!), and easy nursery slopes on the Pla dels Espiolets at the middle station will ensure that you soon progress to the long, sweeping runs from Solana del Forn.
Intermediates
With predominantly red and blue runs, Soldeu is a great resort for intermediates. Try skiing the Riba Escorxada valley, known as the ‘Bowl’.
Advanced
Take advantage of your GrandValira pass and ski the whole area. Test your off-piste skills in Grau Roig, or bash down the bumps to Soldeu village on the ‘Llebre’ or ‘Avet’ runs.
Nightlife
Lively nightlife in Soldeu with numerous bars and discos to choose from. Try: • The Villager • Picadilly • Iceberg • Fat Albert's
El Tarter is not as lively, however there are still a number of bars and a nightclub. Try: • Dylan's for cocktails • Nemo's nightclubActivities
