So what's it like?
An ideal family experience, a good ski area and great hotels
Arinsal is the ideal resort for families and those who wish to discover winter sports without breaking the bank! Low prices, wide confidence boosting runs, excellent instruction and lively nightlife are just a few of Arinsal's undeniable attractions! The cable car between Arinsal and Pal gives access to a great skiing and snowboarding area, suitable for novices and intermediates. There is a wide variety of accommodation, some just steps away from the gondola, plus a variety of bars and restaurants. The Vallnord (Pal/Arinsal) lift pass now includes Arcalis, known as the best ski area in Andorra, only a short bus ride away!
Ski information
Beginners
Arinsal offers some of the friendliest English-speaking instructors we have ever come across. The gentle nursery slopes are set high enough to enjoy excellent snow conditions throughout the season, and for getting a great sun tan! For absolute beginners, our "First time" package is superb value.
Intermediates
The Cota area at around 7,000 ft offers a variety of red and blue runs and to really test your skills, ski back down to the middle station or take the Les Fonts chairlift for a long, wide downhill run. Pal also has a great selection of long wide reds for perfecting those carving turns!
Advanced
Adventurous skiers can try the steep, exciting runs off the Pic Negre and Pic alt de la Capa for mogul fields. The ski school offers advanced slalom racing and off-piste clinics.
Nightlife
Lively atmosphere and great value for money in Arinsal! Your Crystal Representative will arrange some fun-filled evenings or try: • Quo Vadis • Black Bull • El Cau • Surf
Activities
Skidoos, snowshoeing, tobogganing, dog sledding, ski biking, visit to the famous Caldea Water Spa with “Roman Baths” (9kms away)
