Resort Information
Dominated by the glorious Matterhorn, Zermatt is a lively and sophisticated resort with skiing spread over three areas, one of which links to Cervinia in Italy. Zermatt boasts Europe's highest tree line and provides glorious year round skiing at up to 3899m on one of the largest glaciers in Europe, easily reached by the gondola. Long runs from the glacier include a 15km piste to resort but wherever you choose to ski, mountain huts offer everything from drinks to gourmet meals. Look out for our fantastic 2 for 1 LOCAL lift pass offer available in Chalets Annie and Patricia, valid all season except for 26th December, 2nd January and 13th February (offer expires 18th December).

There are two kindergarten/crèches. Cost approx. Chf 370 for 5 full days including lunch (0915-1600). Half-days can also be booked. The Pumuckel has qualified, English speaking nannies to look after children from 2-5 years old. Open daily from 0900-1700 and children over 6 can take basic ski lessons. Cost approx. Chf 90 per day for a full day with lunch.
