Montgenèvre is part of the superb Milky Way ski area offering some of the most extensive skiing in the world. Just 15 minutes from the Italian border, the Grand Galaxy lift pass extension covers the famous Franco-Italian Milky Way ski circuit with over 400km of piste so you can ski in Italy as well as France. The village retains its charming and traditional centre and Montgenèvre even plays host to a festival in January 'Les Januades', when there is jazz, cinema, theatre and cabarets every evening.
