Resort Information
The superb ski resort of La Plagne comprises ten purpose built 'villages' surrounding Plagne Centre including Plagne 1800 just below it, attractive car-free Belle Plagne and the highest village of Aime la Plagne, each boasting superb doorstep skiing. Furthermore the long awaited Vanoise Express cable-car links La Plagne with Les Arcs to form the vast Paradiski ski area - one of the largest ski areas in the world!

Ride in complete safety with friends or family. This bob has an automatic braking system and reaches speeds of up to 80km/hr. It fits 4 people per bob and is driverless. Children under 14yrs must be accompanied by an adult.
Mono Bob £83pp
Fly down the track on your own at speeds of up to £90km/hr. Min age 16yrs.
Taxi Bob £87pp
Similar in construction to a competition bob and reaches speeds of up to 100km/hr. Each bob will fit 3 passengers and is driven by a professional driver (not suitable for people with heart conditions or pregnant women).
Track is open from mid-Dec to 12th March.
La Plagne is a superb family destination and Thomson offers a full range of childcare for guests in La Plagne 1800 and Belle Plagne. The Kids Club is for children from 4-11 years and we are also pleased to introduce a new crèche for children from 6 months to 4 years, both services are run by our sister company. Both the club and crèche offer full or half day care with or without lunch and are run by experienced childcare staff. Early booking is recommended. Call the Child Care Hotline for reservations. 0871 230 8128 (charges apply). Furthermore most of the villages also run their own ski kindergartens for children 3-5 years (excluding Plagne 1800).
Please note: The 1800 Crèche & Kids Club should only be booked by guests staying in Plagne 1800 (not Belle Plagne, Plagne Centre, Plagne Village or Plagne Soleil as it is a bus ride away and not convenient).
