Traditional Austrian charm in a lakeside ski village
The famous old town of Zell am See, with its collection of medieval buildings, lies on one of Austria's loveliest lakes. The impressive Schmittenhöhe mountain is easily accessed from the resort centre and is the starting point for long, cruising runs back to Zell. The Europa Sportregion lift pass also covers the neighbouring glacier resort of Kaprun, reached by local ski bus, making the area one of the most snow-sure in Austria.

Zell am See is best suited to novice and intermediate skiers who will enjoy the variety of easy runs on offer. Its popularity is enhanced by the nearby snowsure Kitzsteinhorn glacier. Nightlife in Zell is well-known and comes highly recommended.

The pretty resort of Zell am See is a brilliant resort for families. We are very pleased to offer you our resort club (run by our sister company) for children aged 6 months to 4 years. The club is located in the resort centre and is easily accessible from all our centrally located hotels.
