Kaprun is situated in the middle of the Hohe Tauern National Park, directly beneath the breathtaking Kitzsteinhorn Glacier. It is one of Austria's most popular winter and summer ski resorts due to its excellent skiing and bustling après ski with a great choice of bars and the fantastic 'Optimum' sports centre. Together with its neighbouring resort, Zell am See, the area offers skiing and boarding for all levels and abilities, all on one lift pass.
